Several of the beaches far from the cities do not have infrastructure for visitors, contributing to their attraction for many. For that reason, if you are traveling to a beach you are not familiar with, always carry plenty of water and food, together with a plastic bag in which to bring out your trash.

A special entry permit is required for some beaches, particularly the most distant and virgin beaches. It is not difficult to obtain. Check in the closest city.

Avoid entering unpaved or sand roads unless you are accompanied or have experience in driving on them. Before driving on sand, let some air out of your cars tires to avoid getting stuck.
Many beaches located near the cities have restaurants and places for lodging. Make reservations if you will be going to a beach in high season from January to March (the summer months for the area) and during national holidays.

To avoid the danger of being stung by a ray or jellyfish on some of the northern beaches, drag your feet on entering the water to scare them away or use closed rubber water shoes. If you do get stung by a ray, wash the area with plenty of soap and water and bandage the sting.
Although the consequences vary according to the individual and the size of the animal, the local solution appears to be effective: place the foot immediately in hot sand or suck out the venom.
