>	Climate: The department of Ica is known for its excellent climate, with sunny days all year long. From December to March, the temperature rises considerably during the day, to reach an average of 30°C (86°F) at noon, and cools off slightly at night. In July and August, the temperature drops, especially at night, to a minimum of 8°C (46.4%). The desert climate makes rainfall scarce and sunshine the rule. The use of sunscreen and hats is recommended.
