How to get to the Route: The Magdalena River, living testimony to the country’s progress – Colombia

- The start of the route is the municipality of Puerto Triunfo, which can be reached from the city of Medellín in a trip of about 180 km or 111.8 miles over a paved highway.

- Visitors can also travel roughly 224 km or 135 miles from Bogotá to Puerto Triunfo in the Department of Antioquia, to board a vessel and start the route.
