borders the Caribbean Sea. Along the way to
Riohacha, travelers can visit the cities of
Barranquilla and Santa Marta.

Valledupar, capital of the Department of the
César. A paved highway from there reaches
Riohacha in a journey of 193 kilometers.
- Visitors can take a one-and-a-half hour
flight from Bogotá to Riohacha’s Almirante
Padilla airport.
