Los Roques Archipelago is made up of 42 small islands located 166 km from the port of La Guaira, off the central coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea. A National Park because of its abundant marine fauna and flora, experts recognize it as an undersea paradise. Since there are only some small cabins for lodging, it is important to follow the recommendations of the authorities and travel agents. Because of its closeness to Caracas, however, it is possible to make short trips to the archipelagos islands while staying on yachts.
