To get to this important
archaeological museum and site where the
festivities are carried out every June in
honor of the Harvest season, you can come from
Quito or Guayaquil by means of TAME airline to
the city of Cuenca, and then you can travel by
land for 60 minutes.
When traveling by land,
please check our road map of the Sierra region,
from the city of Quito, or you can use a
rented cart or simply take an inter-province
bus that departs from the land terminal of
Quito every 10 minutes. The trip from Quito to
Ingapirca takes 10 hours, and the buses are
completely safe.
You can stay at a
hotel in the city of Azogues, or in a small
hotel near the complex of Ingapirca, where you
will enjoy the beautiful Andean landscape,
comfortable rooms that will make you feel at
