	Sajama National Park

	Imposing Mt. Sajama gives this national park an exceptional natural beauty. Other attractions include high lying Andean lagoons, thermal springs and coveted mountain climbing trails. The queñua forests are of particular scientific interest because of their unique location at this altitude. Its natural high mountain features make the site a fascinating one.

	Old Providence Natural National Park and Mc Bean Lagoon

	This 995-hectare protected natural national park lies off the coast of Providencia Island, with which it shares the beauty of Colombia’s Caribbean scenery. Its little-touched ecosystem is used for scientific research, environmental education and recreational purposes.

	The Northern Lakes Route

	Imbabura is known as the Province of the Lakes, because it lodges several water bodies suitable for fishing and adventure sports. Situated in the country’s Northern Highlands, Imbabura features a pleasantly dry climate, with temperatures fluctuating around 18 degrees Celsius.

	Paracas National Rerserve

	Sandy beaches, jet islets and plunging cliffs that offer magnificent vantage points form the Paracas National Reserve. Some 117 406 of its total 335 000 hectares are firm land, consisting of coastal desert and small islands. The impressive beauty of the Paracas coast is due to the diversity of its soils.

	Sierra Nevada National Park

	Located in the central part of the Andean Range in the eastern region of the country corresponding to the Rangel, Libertador, Campo Elías, Santos Marquina, Aricagua and Cardenal Quintero municipalities of the State of Mérida and the Pedraza, Bolívar and Sucre municipalities of the State of Barinas.
