How to get to the Route: Royal Boyacá – Colombia
Tinja can be reached from any part of the country by paved highway.
It is a 143 kilometer drive along the Northern Highway from Bogotá to Tinja and from there the towns in Boyacá are within easy reach.
The distance on the paved highway along the Atlantic coast is about 423 kilometers. It is only 38 kilometers further by paved highway from Tunja to Villa de Leyva.
There are flights from Bogotá to towns near Tinja, such as Sogamoso, Quípama, Puerto Boyacá and Paipa. From there, it is a short drive to the capital of the department.
