SANITARY LEGISLATION
This consists of the zoosanitary standards referring to animals and animal products that are applicable to intrasubregional trade and the standards that are associated with food innocuousness.
 
 
PHITOSANITARY LEGISLATION
These are phytosanitary measures applicable to international trade in agricultural products that are aimed at preventing the entry of exotic pests and plagues and the spread of those that already exist in the subregion, thereby facilitating trade.
 
 
COSMETICS
Decision 516 regulates trade in cosmetic products within the Andean Community. It was adopted in March 2002 by the CAN Member Country trade and health authorities with the support of the General Secretariat.
