The CAN's Communication and Dissemination Program is intended to ensure that Andean integration messages reach the institution's target publics and that the image of the Andean Community is appropriately positioned through communication and support actions expressly chosen for that purpose.
The Andean Community seeks through this Project to disseminate the objectives, actions, accomplishments, benefits and potentials of the integration process, by drawing on all of the means of communication and producing materials for dissemination that project the CAN's image to the target publics.
  
The Andean Community is in the process of creating a network of social communicators in the subregion who would keep permanently abreast of regional and world integration processes. Work is also underway to establish a radio network linking up broadcasting stations in the five Member Countries that would air weekly programs for the general public about integration issues.
  
This Project is aimed at encouraging intensive Internet use for the benefit of the integration process, by designing and creating new communication products that make use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).
