- Lima, Sept. 12, 2008.- The President of Ecuador and Chairman of the Andean Council of Presidents, Rafael Correa, today, in Lima, announced the holding of an Andean Summit during the first half of this coming October to take the integration process in a new direction, “given the changing situations created by the twenty-first century.”
