Types of climate in Colombia |

Just as Colombias topography is varied, so are its climates, from the hot coastal areas to the freezing cold of its snow-capped mountains.
Along the coast, there is a rainy season and the average annual temperature is a high 28ºC.
In the southern area up to 2 200masl, the climate is subtropical and up to 3 000 masl, it is temperate.
The capital city of Bogotá enjoys an average temperature of 14ºC with a low of 8ºC and a high of 20ºC. There are no well-defined seasons, but a rainy period extends from March to May.
