Internal Consultation
This service is provided to satisfy the information needs of General Secretariat officials, through searches in our data bases as well as by using other tools such as the Internet, CD-Roms, and data bases of similar institutions.

External Consultation This service is offered, by appointment, to officials of Member Country government institutions, international organizations and other integration-oriented organizations, to provide them with information that is to be found exclusively in our collection.

Inter-library Loan The Library uses this service to supplement information requested by General Secretariat officials, by asking other local libraries for material not available in our collection.

Photocopies Officials are offered this service in order to handle requests arising from the early warning services through the Internet system. The charge for photocopies is $0.10 each for visitors and for requests made by electronic mail or fax.

Specialized Bibliographies These are provided on request according to each official’s need for information.

Early Warnings (via the Internet)

- Cendoc Early Warning Weekly dissemination of the latest publications received by the Library.

- Cendoc Magazines This service consists of the bi-monthly digital dissemination of the tables of contents of the magazines.

- Legal Information Service Reports on Member Country legal provisions whose full text is available in the Library. This service is irregular, with approximately 3 or 4 issues being published weekly.

- Links of interest Periodically disseminates new links included in a new Intranet section that organizes documents and information, which are available through the Internet, organized by subject matter.

Consultation mechanism Those interested in consulting the services offered by the Andean Community General Secretariat Documentation Center may apply to: 3895 Paseo de la República Ave. (corner of Aramburú Ave), San Isidro; First Floor.
